At Pleasanton Academy of Music, we’re thrilled to share our recent student achievements! As one of the most efficient and inspiring music schools in East Bay, we emphasize structured, engaging lessons that motivate our students to excel. This year, our students have not only improved their skills but have also earned recognition in competitions that fuel their passion for music.
Highlights of Student Achievements
Our talented students have achieved remarkable results at the Rising Star Competition, organized by the Bay Area Global Music Organization. Among the winners:
Claire Liu won 2nd place.
Ethan Chen (piano), Pranil Gundogola (guitar), and Ian Tam (piano) all secured 3rd place.
Ethan Chen also received the “Unique Repertoire Choice”
This success is a testament to the dedication of both our students and their teachers, Ms. Farida and Prof. Angelina. Their commitment to providing professional, personalized instruction helps students reach their full potential.
The event was on October 12th, 2024 and held in Community School of Music and Arts, Tateuchi Hall, Mountain View.
This year, participants competed in a luxurious hall with a Steinway concert grand piano on stage.
How We Achieve Success
Students at Pleasanton Academy of Music follow a carefully designed program that includes at least 45-minute lessons once a week, coupled with consistent practice at home. This approach ensures that students build a strong foundation and develop proficiency over time. Our philosophy is simple: with consistent effort, students can see significant progress within 2-3 years. The key is to keep going, as this persistence opens up pathways to new possibilities and achievements in music.
