Rock Band Program Director
Dmitry Novokhatskiy is the Rock Band Program Director at Pleasanton Academy of Music & Arts, bringing decades of experience as a performing musician, guitarist, songwriter, and music educator. He has toured, performed, and recorded extensively, releasing four albums with his band and two solo records. His background in rock and metal, songwriting, live performance, and studio production gives students real-world experience.
Our Rock Band Program helps students develop confidence, teamwork, creativity, and real-world performance experience. Through weekly rehearsals and live Rock Band concerts every four months, young musicians make new friends, grow as performers, and experience the excitement of being part of a real band.
