Elena Ermilova, a seasoned piano and voice instructor with over 25 years of teaching experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her students. Her teaching portfolio covers a wide spectrum, including group and private lessons in music theory, classical, jazz, and pop genres, as well as the chord system, electric keyboard skills, and fundamental vocal techniques.
She earned a distinguished Diploma in Piano Teaching and Classical Accompaniment from The Music College in Vologda, Russia. Her pursuit of musical excellence continued with a Master’s Degree Diploma from the Vologda Pedagogical University.
Post-education, Elena embarked on her professional journey as a piano teacher at a Music, Art, and Choreography school, where she honed her skills in group lessons, instrumental and electric music bands, and even theatrical productions.
Specializing in private piano instruction for all ages, she gained recognition within the California Music Teachers Association (CMTA). Elena’s teaching experience extends to esteemed music institutions in Pleasanton and San Ramon. Additionally, her musical talents have been lent to various musicians and vocal studios in the Walnut Creek area, where she served as an accompanist and performer.
Elena’s hallmark is her emphasis on building positive relationships with students and parents, offering personalized instruction tailored to individual needs.
Recognizing music as a catalyst for abstract thinking and individuality, Elena encourages her students to participate in diverse musical events, including festivals, competitions, recitals, and masterclasses.
