Aidan Hogan is a professional cellist and music instructor from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After beginning with the piano at age 6, Aidan began to take cello lessons at age 8. Falling in love with the instrument, he excelled with it throughout his career in middle and high school, becoming a 4 time winner of the WSMA Solo and Ensemble exemplary soloist award, a finalist in the Milwaukee Symphony’s Stars of Tomorrow competition, a winner and honors recital performer of the Milwaukee Civic Music Competition, as well as performing at Carnegie Hall with the HPS International String Orchestra in 2019, and Wisconsin State High School Honors Orchestra for 3 years. After graduating from High School in 2019, Aidan continued to study alongside several fine cellists in the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and served as principal cellist with the Milwaukee Philharmonic, Assistant Principal cellist with the Kettle Moraine Symphony, acting Principal Cellist of the Lake Geneva Symphony, as well as performing as a section cellist with the Wisconsin Philharmonic and Kenosha Symphony. Aidan was also a lead cello instructor and string instrument instructor working with the acclaimed Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, on top of developing a studio of dedicated cello students in Southeast Wisconsin.
