We are proud to announce another exceptional year of achievements at the United States Open Music Competition 2025, where students from Pleasanton Academy of Music brought home over 33 awards! This nationally respected classical music competition continues to showcase the best young musicians in the country, and our students rose to the top—earning Outstanding Performance Awards, First Place medals, and high honors across all levels.

? What is the United States Open Music Competition?
Founded in 1992, the USOMC is one of the leading competitions in the United States focused on piano and classical music performance. Students compete in categories ranging from Baroque to Modern composers, including solo, duet, ensemble, and full concerto events. With participants from across the nation, the USOMC remains a powerful platform for developing young musicians and recognizing musical excellence.
