From a young age, Emily love for the piano has been a constant source of joy, and she is eager to share that passion with her students! Over the past 15 years, she’s dedicated herself to the instrument, studying under various private teachers. Notably, Dr. Rex Cooper from the University of the Pacific has been a significant influence, sparking her interest in pursuing piano performance and shaping her teaching philosophy.
Teaching is Emily’s true calling! Since 2021, she’s been imparting her knowledge, starting with a few private students and eventually expanding to tutor college students at Las Positas College. Currently, she is in the process of transferring to pursue a B.A. in Music Education.
“Performing brings me immense joy, especially when collaborating with others! I rarely turn down an opportunity to accompany fellow musicians, relishing the chance to play with a diverse range of talents. My performing journey has been thrilling, from competitions to school concerts, live gigs, and serving as a pit musician for various musicals at both my school and the Bankhead Theater in Livermore.
My aspiration is to inspire others to embrace the world of music while continuously evolving as a musician myself!”
