Anthony Anderson is a brass as well as beginning piano instructor, teaching trumpet, trombone, French horn, tuba, baritone, euphonium and piano. Growing up in the Bay Area and studying and performing jazz and classical music for 27 years, Anthony has performed with many artists around the Bay Area, including Santa Cruz symphony, Oakland Symphony, and shared the stage with members of such esteemed groups as Prince, Santana, The Jazz Messengers, Parliament Funkadelic, Justin Timberlake, Wu Tang Clan, Sly and the family Stone and more.
Anthony attended Temple University in Philadelphia for Music Performance, and has a passion for sharing the love of music with others. Finding ways to motivate students to love their instrument and enjoy the gift of music is one of his passions, along with catering to the needs of each individual student in order to find out how to motivate and engage them in practicing and improving.
