Farida Nelson possesses Master Degree in piano performance and pedagogy. She graduated Baku Music Academy (Baku, Azerbaijan) in 2010.
Farida also specializes in K6 curriculum development (kindergarten through Grade 6), as well as primary school curriculum development. Farida teaches students (18 months old through 15 years of age) music lessons covering a wide range of instruments including piano, guitar, singing, ukulele and music theory.
Farida hails from Azerbaijan as her native country’s first female bass player that led her band to become a finalist of the National Final for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 as a member of the rock band Unformal. She continued her successful career as the bassist in Azerbaijan’s number one pop- rock band Milk & Kisses. With over 15-years of professional music experience playing piano, bass and guitar as an arranger, performer, recording musician, songwriter and teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Farida prepares students for Certificate of Merit test, ABRSM exam in piano, guitar and voice performance and theory.
