Linli Wang is a collaborative pianist and piano teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area. Linli is currently a School Pianist at the San Francisco Ballet School, Choral Accompanist with the Modesto Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Youth Chorus, as well as Pianist at Starr King Unitarian Universalist Church in Hayward. As a pianist, Linli is passionate about working with other musicians and artists, and enjoys learning a wide variety of repertoire.
Linli recently graduated from Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a Master of Music degree in Collaborative Piano under the tutelage of Dr. Andrew Altenbach. At the Boston Conservatory, Linli actively worked with singers and instrumentalists as an accompanist. She also worked as a rehearsal pianist for Boston Conservatory Opera’s productions of Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Nico Muhly’s Dark Sisters, and Nicolai’s Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor.
As a piano teacher, Linli has experience working with both children and adults. With patience and positivity, Linli fosters a comfortable learning environment which encourages students to play with confidence and expression. She also emphasizes on developing strong fundamental skills and effective practice strategies, which empowers students to continuously take on new challenges.
